Terran Technology

Terra is called "Earth" by its inhabitants. Sierran Intelligence has studied this planet, classified as SK-3, for many centuries. The Terrans share a remarkably similar external appearance with the Sierran race. The famous Sierran fighter pilot Talon has performed many covert reconnaissance missions amongst the Terran people, blending in with the population with ease. The Terrans have achieved limited interstellar capability.

AD-17N Commanche Assault Dropship

The Terran United States Colonial Marines' AD-17 Commanche is a low-orbital-to-air assault craft that is dropped from an orbiting starship carrier. It is equipped with a cargo bay that can deliver a land assault vehicle such as the M-577 Powell Armored Personnel Carrier. The Commanche then lifts off to provide air support with its heavy ordnance load. This is a highly unique and creative tactical combination that exploits the limited technology of the Terrans to their fullest.
