The Grays

The Grays are an ancient and technologically advanced race about which virtually nothing is known. They are small and physically frail, with an even, gray skin and large black eyes. They have no gender-distinguishing feature and stand only a meter tall. The Grays consider all other races to be subjects for their mysterious biological studies, and have abducted members from virtually all other races. They tend to focus their efforts on unwary and less advanced races, however, as they are physically no match against determined resistance.

The Grays' ships range from pure saucers to the sleek craft depicted here. They are powered by incredibly efficient gravimetric drives, and are generally much smaller than comparable craft such as Sierran fighters like the Rapier. It is not known whether these amazingly agile craft are armed, but they do emit a powerful dampening field, which immobilize and shuts down the systems of other ships, allowing the Grays ship to quickly escape.
