Egolosian I-200 Intereceptor

The Egolosians are a secretive and Xenophobic humanoid race who have resisted every Sierran attempt at making contact and establishing any form of relations. Any intrusion into Egolosian space is instantly met with a terse warning, then backed up immediately with armed response. To date, no race has had any success in forming a relationship with the Egolsian people, nor has the Egolosians ever ventured beyond their own system. Obviously, little is known about them.

The primary interceptor met by intruders into Egolosian space is the I-200. The I-200 is a single-seat interceptor powered by a single ion engine and has short-warp capability. None has ever travelled beyond Egolosian space. The small ship is fast and responds quickly in large numbers to intruders, launching from a string of massive and heavily-armed perimeter space stations situated around the edge of the Egolosian system. It's armament consist of 2 heavy disruptor cannons and 2 warhead launchers. The cannons are powerful enough to deter most intruders. Even though these ships are not nearly as advanced as the Sierran Rapier, the paranoid ferocity with which Egolosian pilots defend their sovereignty makes up for the technological gap.
